I got laid off tonight.

I work midnights and they were waiting for me at the door when I got there at 11:00 pm. They had my shit all boxed up and said - nothing personal Stevo, call Julie in the morning about your package. Fuck. I will get two weeks for every year(12 weeks) and I can get unemployment for 6 months, plus my 401k had 19,000 in it I can tap if I have to. I guess things happen for a reason. That place sucked anyways. I know they did it because they can get someone to do my job for cheaper than $16 an hour. Oh well, I might as well cash in on all my benefits before the end of this month such as glasses, extra bp medicine, etc. Hopefully I can keep roadrunner to stay on DU.

This place is my sanity. Mrs bearfan, my sweeet angel granddaughter, and DU are 3 of the things that keep me going. I like my deer hunting too, but I might not be able to afford that now. I have my 42 acres for sale right now. If that deal goes through I will make 44,000 profit. Everything just might work out good. I still say fuck bush.

If your job sucked then be glad. A man isn't his job, no matter what they tell you. You know you did your best, that you were honest and hard working, so its their loss. When I got laid off I reeled for about 5 minutes, then I realized I suddenly had time to do some of the things I had put off because of my job. Live a little before you look for work.
