Adopt Pinky the Cat!!!
I was crying watching this one. It made me laugh so hard I had to see it several times over to get all of it...

Before you go there, all I can ask is, "WHO wants to adopt Pinky????"

3. I was kind of sad after I watched that.
I don't think anyone will adopt Pinky, now.

Pinky got that guy good though, didn't he?

4. I laughed so hard
I scared my cat. She was sitting right next to me and jumped two feet in the air when I started laughing. Thanks for the link.

5. I've said it before...
...and I'll say it again. Cats are food. This one definately needs eatin'. No doubt.

7. I'm sure Pinky is a sweet cat
Pinky also did his best to get away and only resorted to attacking the guy at the very end. I'm sure he was freaked by tall of the cameras and people.

And yes, I thought it a funny video, but I also have sympathy for Pinky.

That's what happens when food misbehaves.

13. So do I. That poor cat must have been at the end of his tether
We have a "Pet Connection" segment twice a week on the Albany, NY, ABC affiliate. The chief meteorologist is crazy about animals and features pets up for adoption. I adopted my beloved cocker spaniel, Barney, after I saw him there. Barney was a very mellow dog, but he was not fond of being in front of the cameras, let alone, being up on a table. I could have told them, immediately, that this dog would have been much happier on the floor. Even he looked very stressed.

This cat needs a quiet, sympathetic person and the Tellington Touch. It is my firm belief that any cat can be socialized. My cat, who I rescued from outside, and I first believed was feral, made a believer out of me. She went from cowering behind the couch, to sitting on the desk beside me while I was typing. It just took patience and dental work. She must have been very uncomfortable. They cannot tell us, but a visit to the vet did.:-)

12. Now you know why you don't see cats on leashes
My old cat would have ripped that guy a new one too if he'd done him like that.

Shows the superiority of cats, IMHO. Hail Pinky!

14. I think it was the shrill screams that killed me.
You just KNOW that cat probably shredded that poor guy's nads...

FWIW, I agree that I felt sorry for the cat. They are not creatures that do well with new surroundings or unusual circumstances--and this probably freaked the poor animal out big time. My guess is that pinky probably IS a great cat that was unnerved by everything that was going on.

The only thing that redeemed it for me was the knowledge that many animal control officers and almost everyone that does any kind of animal rescue loves animals and would never harm one.

Poor cat--and poor man! I just knew it was gonna go badly once that leash got wrapped around the guy's legs!
