The Lion In Winter - should I watch this?
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 07:12 PM by nu_duer
Its coming on TMC now.

Kate Hepburn, among others.

Before my time, but they're calling it a masterpiece.

Anybody?

4. ABSOLUTELY.
Dialogue is rich, heavy and important. More talking than action. If you like that sort of thing.

Don't even eat crunchy food when you watch it so as not to miss anything.

9. Saw the play with Lawrence Fishburne and
Stockard Channing and it was fabulous! Fishburne actually stopped the play to scold an audience member whose cell phone went off. The movie is definitely a classic as was the play.

12. Great movie
Lot of memorable lines, especially from Hepburn. When O'Toole says to her character (Eleanor of Aquitaine) "Woman will you give me no peace?" the responmse is, "Eternal Peace, now theres a thought" Great line.

13. One of my favorites.
*Of course he has a knife, he always has a knife, we all have knives! It's 1183 and we're all barbarians!*

Hysterical. Katharine Hepburn is amazing in it.
