I am Jack's wasted life
Got my first day off today since frikkin Bastille Day. For no reason I can put a finger on, I slept on the couch last night. Woke up at 2:00pm, which means I slept about 14 hours straight. Am still in my underwear and the old ragged tie-dye I slept in. Having my first cup of coffee. Have lots of stuff to do today. Maybe I'll do it.

1. And maybe not.
Will. give yourself a day off for goodness sakes! Rest, watch a movie. Do something fun and tomorrow you can do what you need to do.

3. Excellent advice.
How much real time off have you had since -- well, since you started fighting against the Bush administration, Mr. P?

7. Survey says 'None'
Day here, day there, but always on call etc.

9. I hate to resort to these tactics
But since that makes me worry a little, I will:

How much good will you be to the cause if you burnout? We need your voice until the end.

Be good to yourself. Value yourself enough to take some real time off. If it's only two or three days, do it without blackberry, pager, laptop, etc., and take along your cellphone for emergencies but steel yourself to leave it off. JM2cents.

11. I'm fully aware of the razor I'm sliding across
I have a few good stress-release activities, good friends, a good cat, and a finish line: November, less than 90 days away.

I'll be fine, but thanks for the advice.

Didn't mean any offense. I know you're a big boy. Thanks for doing the work a lot of us would if we could.

13. Absolutely no offense taken
If people don't occasionally say, "Dude, you're going to fucking kill yourself if you're not careful," I might accidentally fall into the bear pit.

Thanks.

2. My family has this syndrome--the more free time we have, the less we do
When we have dozens of projects going on, you would be amazed at what we can do with a few minutes of free time.

8. I'm not sure. They are mopping up in Troy and
say they don't need too many people. I think Swanzey starts next week. If I don't, I'll go see Yaya. You should rest up. I have a feeling that the RNC is going to be a challenge...you won't be very welcome there!

10. Only in your underwear?
Hmmmmm.........what an image for a single gal like me! :evilfrown: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

See, Will, this is one of the many, many joys of being single. You can do what youi want when you want without anyone bugging you about getting up at a certain time, bugging you about all the stuff you have to do, nagging at you to do this, do that, why don't you ever do such-and-such, etc., etc., lol!

BTW, the picture NEO Buckeye took of us at Kent on May 4 right after your speech turned out really well. You actually look halfway decent! :P

I saw a documentary about Kent State on the History Channel this morning. It got some facts wrong (as they usually do, GRRRR!!!), which really pissed me off, as it alway does. You'd think after 34 %^#%$^#$^#%$#^#%@@#$% freaking years the facts would finally start to sink in, but I guess that's too much to ask. It's a never-ending battle, SIGH.

Seriously though, do whatever the hell you feel like today...even if that's absolutely nothing. :)

18. Add me to the list of females
startled to suddenly imagine you in your underwear. I'll never see you on TV in the same light again.
