So I Saw TWO Muskrats Today!

My daily bike ride to the duck pond/nature sanctury had a high point today...

While feeding bread to the ducks... along came the muskrat who climbed out of the water several times to get the larger pieces of bread I left on the rocks.

Then, after a while, ANOTHER muskrat came swimming along with a bunch of grass in its mouth... must be building a nest?

Some of the people at the nature sanctury think the muskrats are yucky but I like them! They have to be clean cause they live in the water.And they have nice eyes, too.

In an old ex-mine creek by my house. I felt bad for them for swimming in there, all the rocks are covered in sulphor deposits from many years past. But they are handsome creatures.
