I intentionally left out "The Saint', which is on in the middle, because though Roger Moore was quite good looking as a lad, the show pales in comparison to the other two.

So who is watching some Cold War spy thrillers this evening?

:toast:

Mrs. Peel, we're needed!

2. Who is Number One?
You are Number Six.

I swear, I could do an entire college course on that show. Draw parralells to McLuhan and his contemporaries.

4. Given this administration's Orwellian overtones, it's very timely
Plus I looove Patrick McGoohan. Quite a handsome man!

6. I came along a little later
But got into her through reruns. Also, there was a Seattle band in the early '80s called the Allies. They had a song called "Emma Peel," which was actually pretty cool. Local music here sucked then. Just a bit o' trivia from the flamingyouth cache! :D

8. I was 4 in '68, and I think she had already left the show
but her fashion sense was burned in my toddler psyche.

10. It was explained on the last show that Diana Rigg appeared in
Mr. Peel had gone off on an expedition somewhere and was lost and presumed dead.

He turned up alive, which was the excuse for Emma Peel to leave and the mediocre Tara to take her place.

Cannot get enough of The Prisoner. After all these years, it still looks innovative.
