When Kerry takes office and gives some serious effort to alternative energy, I'd like to do my part by investing in the companies that are ready to deliver solar, biodiesel, hydrogen, or other alternatives.

What companies in these industries are ripe for investment?

But I know that the tech isn't there yet what with the discharge problems and cost. Maybe soon?

That's what I had in mind. I heard today of Kerry's 10-year, $10 billion plan to develop alternative technologies. Looking for specific companies that have potential, I can wait five years for a good return.
