Man, I didn't think anything could get me excited after sitting in the stands that chilly Vet evening last January and watching the same shit unfold 3 years running (man, one could easily argue that our best chance at an NFC Championship was the FIRST game in StL), but hey

Even such stopgap measures such as signing Trotter for the league minimum look pretty good!

And getting TO was a MUST, because MacNabb's development, good as it has been in the regular season, has been impeded by having literally the worst receiver corps in the NFC for three years running.

After awhile, even a smart, togteher guy like McNabb would start questioning himself after three years of having guys who sucked so bad that you couldn;t throw to them unless they were WIDE OPEN BY TWO STEPS!

Considering that, McNabb did quite admirably to keep improving year-by-year with such shitty receivers.

Hopefully, TO will now revolutionize him and help him get to the next level and carry it through until January.

So, yes, much to my surprise I am quite excited about the Eagles and can;t WAIT to TROUNCE Gibbs and the Deadskins this year!

Of course, with Joe Gibbs, that condition won't last more than a year or two, then it's "look out, above!"

But I am going to try and enjoy this year.
