DU is the best!

I've been lurking for several months, reading and educating myself -- thanks to the great posters at DU and the links to other resources.

The people I work with range from people who lean toward Bush to borderline freepers. With the credible info I get here on DU, I have been able to have some great discussions with people over the last few weeks.

Today, a co-worker asked me about the "purges" of the Florida election rolls, and some other stuff about election 2000. She kept saying, "I didn't know that" about facts that most DUers would consider basic. Previously she had refused to go see F 9/11, but now she is willing to go see it.

Another co-worker, who gets most of his facts from AM radio and Sean Hannity (ewwww), agreed to watch "Outfoxed," which I learned about from DU and ordered immediately.

I have more information, and hence ammunition, with which to fight the misinformation and outright lies of the Bush Administration.
