Doom 3 really, really kicks ass.
I couldn't wait till wednesday..

I could only play for 20 mins before heading off to work, but ..

DAAAAYYYYUUMMM! it is awesome!

512 megs mem isn't enough though.

1. I'm using both of my kidneys, so I can't get a new computer to play it.
But that game and Half-Life 2 both look earth-shakingly awesome.

2. actually you can play it on a pretty low system
1.8ghz, 256 mem, geforce 4 mx cards seem to be fine.

i'm waiting on my new 3.2 gig chip, and already have a 9700 radeon, so it plays pretty well on 800X600 high detail.


www.pricewatch.com has really good prices on upgrades.

7. Mine is waaay too low.
I got it about three years ago, and it has a GeForce 3, Pentium 4, and 128 megs of RAM. I'm planning to upgrade, but it's gonna be mighty steep, and I'd rather not buy a new motherboard.
