Every time I watch the Animal Cops shows....
on Animal Planet, I want to adopt all the animals there.

How anyone could abuse those animals is beyond my comprehension.

Even more amazing is how those animals learn to trust and love again after being abused and/or neglected.

1. Animals are much better people than us humans.
I don't watch those shows too often because they upset me so much. I can't understand how anyone can treat our animal friends that way. The punishment should be that they are treated the same way they treated those abused animals.

2. Those shows make me cry.
Did you see my threat last night about the ASPCA and how we can support them? At the moment, DU's "my posts" feature is down, so I can't get the link for you, but search for it.

3. It breaks my heart.
My dog was an abuse case. They wouldn't give us any details, but he is the sweetest, most cuddly dog. I can't imagine anyone harming him. If I ever met the people, I don't know what I'd do.

4. Tough shows to watch
but I do anyway. Some stories have very sad ending for the animals.

Just heard on the local news out of Sioux Falls, SD. they just reported that for the forth time this week some ASSHOLE(S) is throwing kittens out of their truck window. They showed 2 of the kitties recooping at the shelter, they look to be around 3 or 4 months old. Poor babies. Don't think the other 2 kittens made it.

I'd like to take a bat to the ASSHOLES that are doing this. They probably think it's "fun." I'd like to have "fun" with them myself :grr:

7. When I watch Animal cops, I want revenge against the abusers

I'd like to see some cat lover throw the animal abusers out the window of a pickup truck--at 120 mph--just for fun, and with utter impunity!

10. I would imagine that it takes a great deal
of restraint (and training) on the part of the animal cops to not "twist" an arm a bit harder than they should or oops, I'm sorry you tripped 'face first' down those concrete steps with your hands cuffed behind your back.

It would be (I'm pretty sure) near impossible for me to not hurt someone. Good thing I don't do that for a living. I get way too emotional when it comes to children and animals and abuse.

If by some lucky chance I happen to catch this person or persons, ya gotta fast pick-up truck I could borrow? ;-) You drive, I'll push :bounce:

6. They had one with overheated puppies
They had to give them ice water enemas and I was crying because it was so sad.

It was a hot day out and the idiots that left these pups and mama dog in the back yard could have at least put down a bowl of water and some food.

8. And when they arrest the SOB owners
the owners are flabbergasted that they are being arrested because they do not think they did anything wrong. WTF?

9. The people doing that mistreatment
need to be locked away for a long, long time.
