I'm looking in my crystal ball.
I'm reading the tea leaves.
I have perused the entrails of a freshly killed chicken.
I cast the bones.
I'm wearing my genuine Great Karnak turban.

I see gasoline prices magically dropping at midnight on Monday.

3. As soon as the 3 day week end is over
the gouging will end.

2. OK but in all fairness
You don't need a sixth sense to predict that ;-)

4. yeah, and ever notice
we suck it up everytime?
Wonder what would happen if everybody would just sit home for a few days over some of these artificially inflated price gouged holiday weekends?
There is more of us, and less of thems. Hit them where it hurts, and don't buy (which would entail boycott/no driving in this case).

The price is always, always what the market will bear. If we don't bear it, it comes down. As long as we do, it remains and creeps up and stays up.

I don't see the price coming down magically at midnite Monday. As long as shpeople pay it, it'll stay up there, but if it falls at all, it will be so minor and most will see that as a relief even tho the price will be higher than we were set at before the increase. Where did you expect that taxcut/relief to go anyway? Savings?

No crystal ball needed, just being aware of the tactics of the greedy.
