I recently went to a chain bookstore and saw all of the Hannity, Limbaugh, Colter and other Republican propaganda books. I was looking for House of Bush, House of Saud. It was not on the shelves. I went to the store manager. She was positive she had it in stock...somewhere. Went to the back room. Nothing. She was positive she had some in stock. She took my name and phone number and promised to call me when she found it.
Two weeks later, I'm still waiting.
That's the way those in power around here handles any medium that bashes Republicanism around here. Hide it and maybe it will go away. The local newspapers and radio "personalities" will grandstand on how they stand for this, that and the other thing. Bush's policies have been diametrically opposed to those positions. But guess what? When it comes time to announce their endorsements, they'll back Bush. I'll bet the house on it.
