2. Saw them live once
worked in radio - got comp tix for everything.

They opened for Paula Abdul.

They sounded great. The did an a capella version of Billy Joel's "Longest Time."

6. yeah, now that you mention it...
...I guess I was just impressed they pulled it off as well as they did. I also liked the fact that, unlike other similar acts that came later (Back Street Boys, etc.), CMB actually put themselves together as a group - went to high school together.

If so, man they haven't really changed much (as far as style, hair).

13. I'm confused
at your statement. Sorry. It's no big deal.

I just don't get how you can say they looked more gay now then back then without seeing a picture of them from now.

Or are you saying that in 2004 America that would be one's perception of what "gay" looks like?

14. from my memory...
(being queer myself) I never perceived them as such during the time frame when they were popular (early 90's) -- looking at this photo now, I perceive them differently -- my personal perception has changed -- hopefully clarified :hi:

15. Clarified
Sorry I was being so brainless. I hear what you mean.

I think if we fast-forward a few years in the future, some people may have the same thoughts about other boy-bands like say The Backstreet Boys.

5. Embarrassed to say I saw them live.
I was oh, 14 or so and they were in an MTV concert, I think. It was CMB, Gerardo (!! Rico Suave), Bel Biv Devoe, Tara Kemp (can't believe I remember that) and oh and C&C Music Factory. HOW LAME OF ME!!!!

(I also went to G&R and Skid Row, which ALMOST makes up for it)
