Sharon Stone, you're not famous anymore.
Really, please, just give it up. You had the most famous flash in movie history, and that should be enough for you.

8. Not even.
I mean, I understand that there's maybe a 40 year old guy living in his mom's basement that salivated at the prospect of her parting her chicken legs. But, really, it was just so meh. You didn't see anything and it lasted for maybe 2 seconds.

I have whole heaps of issues with that movie, though, so it could just be my bitterness at the most disgusting portrayal of bi and lesbian woman in the history of filmmaking talking.

24. She's around...
I shot a movie called "Brother's Keeper" with her in 2001. She mostly does TV stuff now...

Incidentally, her dad was in Gary Lewis and the Playboys.

10. Jealous of a botoxed has been? Okay, I guess.
There's more soft lighting on her in that piece of dreck than I have ever seen in a movie. And that fight scene between her and Halle Berry looks like something out of WoW circa 1984. Without the athletic prowess.

If this is supposed to be her big comeback vehicle, maybe she should stick to just showing up for award shows.

40. I just realized something.
Halle Berry's character in the Flintstones movie (speaking of bad flicks) was named Sharon Stone.

Nothing significant there, I know, but it's kind of interesting.

41. They originally wanted Sharon Stone for that part...
But Sharon thought she was too good for it. So, they put out a casting call and everyone from Brooke Shields to Halle Berry auditioned. And Halle just happened to get the part.

what she has to say about the 911 commission report. She has been a supporter of Micheal Moore and Kerry. I am not crazy about her, as I was not crazy about Letterman and Sean Penn; however I have started to embrace anyone who hates the chimp the way I do.

She was absolutely terrific in that film.

And since she stands on the liberal side of most political issues, I can fault her there, either.

25. she was good in that western with Gene Hackman, too...
Good campy fun, but I forgt what it was called--was it the Quick and the Dead?

True Sharon Stone story: She was at a Vancouver restaurant a few years ago, when someone at another table began choking. She lept up and gave the guy the heimlich, although he had already passed out. When he came to, Sharon Stone was standing over him, and she actually remarked to the room, "I bet he thinks he died and went to heaven!"

Sheesh.

47. Yes, Casino, which is the only movie of hers I'll ever see again...
...although there are at least half a dozen OTHER Scorsese movies I'll see again before I see Casino again. Apart from that one, though, Stone should have picked her projects a bit more astutely. She's been in tons of crap. As far as Catwoman goes, I DID see an early screening of it and yeah, it's as bad as the reviews suggest. Jeff Wells, a good man and a smart writer, has a purr-fect (sorry!) take-down of the film, and its connection to the larger issues of cynical, empty, stupid Hollywood blockbusters in his column today on the "Hollywood Poopshoot" site.

I'm a 24 fan, so when I hear "Sherry" I think of Penny Johnson-Jerald's late lamented character on that show.

My cousin has some amusing stories about famous people he went to acting school with. I'll have to ask him if they had any nicknames. :)

37. I don't know,
She has always been good eye candy. She does have that quality that can't be faked called "Cool." Michele Rodriguez has it. Ron Perlman has it. Micheal Madsen has it.

Her part as queen of bitches in "Total Recall" was when I first noticed her. She was especially good and in the heart of her coolness element in "The Specialist." True, a shitty movie, but her part in it was one of the few bright spots. The lowest, low spot in the film was the shower scene with her and Stallone. Here she is, naked and dripping wet and what happens? The fucking camera lingers for what seemed an eternity on Stallone's ass!

I didn't know about that. I guess it did a number on her brain, and she said it caused her to rethink life, and her life. There's an article about her in the current Rolling Stone. Also a great interview with Garry Trudeau in the same issue.
