Now, I'll never get the job that I just applied to online

Instead of submitting my resume that I already prepared, I filled out their resume profile section. Although I have skills and experience pertainent to the job, my experience has been mainly in another industry. I thought that their profile set up would provide a better picture of me than my current resume for their posted position. I checked the things that I had written in the experience/skills section several times. Then I submitted it. It said: "Thank you (First name) (Last name) for applying to ..." My last name was in lower case. I evidently didn't capitalize my last name for some reason. The profile was sent directly to them. It wasn't something saved and editable like on Monster.com or other general websites. Is there anything that I can do at this point? If I still want to work there in the future, how many years should I wait before resubmitting my resume and expect that they won't hold my mistake against me.
Oh well.
