a couple of years ago I used Rembrandt toothpaste for a while to try to whiten my teeth, but they got really sensitive and I thought I might be damaging the enamel and quit using it. But yesterday I was looking at Crest White Strips, after my sister recommended them, and it says on the box that sensitivity may occur but it's not damaging.
Anybody have a bottom-line on this question? Are these whitening systems/toothpastes safe for the enamel? IS the sensitivity not to worry about?
Any recommendations re an affordable system? why couldn't I just use baking soda and hydrogen peroxide? (I do mix a little peroxide with my Listerine mouthwash every morning and I think it is keeping my almost-60-yr-old choppers from getting any worse than they already are).
thanks in advance for any advice!!
