Even asking the question "If" is insulting to those with long-term, loving relationships with Box Turtles. Of course, I wouldn't personally know about that, I'm just guessing. See Ya!
I was at the pet store yesterday and I watched as a mother with her 2 kids were looking at the Box Turtles. I was excited about the fact that this mother was so willing to discuss box-turtle love with her children and I suppose I wished that more parents would talk about this with their children and explain that some folks just prefer box turtles for love.
But we live in a world where politicians demean box turtle love and talk about how our neighbors could be in love with box turtles but that doesn't make it right. I'm just worried that not everyone will be like that mother at the pet store, but instead will tell their children that box turtle love is some demented form of lifestyle that if the children 'choose' that path that they will not be accepted.
If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right If being right means being without you I'd rather live a wrong doing life Your mama and daddy say it's a shame It's a downright disgrace Long as I got you by my side I don't care what your people say .... <<
