I watched the Hallmark movie,
La Femme Musketeer, last night. That's a good seven hours (or so it seemed) of my life that I'll never get back. It was very late, and I was very sleep deprived, but I think that my occasional forays into slumberland didn't detract from the viewing experience. Probably enhanced it. The film could use some better acting...better dialog...some semblance of editing...a story...
Still, the film did offer one decided plus: a young British woman by the name of Susie Amy. Hubba, I say...and, again, hubba. The film did boast a few good actors; unfortunately, she wasn't among them, but her screen presence was still significant and I have to say that her beauty is pretty profound and seems somehow more naturalistic than is the norm in filmdom these days. She's only 23 or so, though, but somehow she looks way more mature than that to my eyes. Weird.
Yes, it was worth enduring the movie. Not that I have any idea what it was about -- perhaps some of my naptimes were longer than I thought -- or why it was made.
