Oh, yeah!!!
Today, in the great city of Kansas City, MO., a wish of mine came true. I can now listen to my beloved Kansas City Royals games on a station that does not also broadcast the likes of Limbaugh, O'Reilly and Savage. As of 5:00 pm this afternoon, WHB 810 AM will be the new home of the Royals. I was having a hard time giving 980 KMBZ my time, but they were the station that carried the games when they were not televised. Unfortunately, they also carried the radio shows of the aforementioned slugs. It's a great day, I say!! I so wanted to boycott 980, but my love for my team overtook my reasoning. Now I can listen to the games knowing that I'm not also listening to a station that allows such crap to be broadcast.

I've spent some time in KC...my sister and her family were at the Royals/Yankees game a few weeks ago (8/11).

Again, welcome to DU. Keep us posted on events in KC.
