Victorian attitudes
How many of you know some men (likely a conservative) who doesn't like women getting in on political discussion? I've been recently subjected to the "little lady, don't worry your purty head about the presidency" shit, and I want to make sure that this ass isn't the only one who seems to think that women should engage in more "polite" conversation and stay away from "dirty" languages and subject matters such as politics.

I really wanted to smack this SOB across the face, but a cyber-slap can only go so far. It's men like this who delayed women getting the vote and becoming slightly more than second-class citizens.

4. I know this exists
but I know noone who has said this to me. Many men have changed and I don't think this neanderthat attitude is normal in America.

6. My parents have a Repuke neighbor...
Who always tells me that I'll be a Republican "when I grow up." I'm 24, and he doesn't say this to my 20-year-old communist brother. (And I mean literally, he's a communist, not just really liberal.) Also, a lot of the counter-protesters at the abortion rally in D.C. held signs that said stuff like "Get Back in the Kitchen". I think some said simply, "KITCHEN".
