Yay! I just got told I keep my job for a WHOLE extra week.
They have decided that while we are training our cheap foreign replacements in India, we should stick around until Sept 26 instead of the original date of Sept 19.

Gosh, I am so relieved that have all that extra time before I have to worry about being unemployed due to globalization.

1. The sad thing is...
That when you go to file for unemployment benefits, and need to call someone at the E.S.C. for follow-up questions, you'll probably be connected to an E.S.C. customer service phone bank...in Delhi!:eyes:

Sure, those Indians may need jobs (not to mention BETTER pay, of course!) but then...SO DO WE, DAMMIT!

Sounds like more great news from Dub's "Economic dream team"!

B-)

2. Take that time to be extra productive...
Print out 50 copies of PNACs stuff to pass out to people to educate them on these lunatics. Spend the time fundraising on the company's phone for the candidate of your choice, spend the week reading Lies and the Lying Liars who tell them. Build a better paper airplane!

3. Maybe you can parlay this into something
like official contact between the company and the Indian replacements.

My father-in-law got hired on a six-month contract and is still working four years later.
