And mine for a few months out of the year.

Add air conditiong to protect the electronics like the computer and I think I would prefer to live in one year round.

6. My best friend lived in one in Wyoming for several years.
He loved it and would go back to a yurt in a heartbeat if he didn't have to live in the City of St. Louis (local residency requirements for firefighters).

7. Hubby has a friend who is building one!
Or rather, three strung together. I'm pretty sure he intends to live in it year round. And it gets damn cold here in the winter (which can last for 6 months).

14. Do they do the plumbing and electric, too?
Do you build a bath-yert to accomodate those needs?
I'm intrigued...

'Let's go back to my yurt' sounds intriguing yet somehow optimistic. :silly:

13. You can rent one at state parks along the Oregon coast.
On your next road trip, see how you like it.
