Biggest Public Figure-Related Pet-Peeve
What is your biggest pet peeve about a public figure? One caveat -- the public figure can be anyone in the public eye EXCEPT BUSH. Lord knows there's enough about him to fill volumes.

For me: Scott McClellan -- the way he says the word "important."

"Im-pour-DANT".

falls all over itself to cover BREAKING NEWS! whenever any celebrity is accused of anything illegal.

For example: Why the bloody hell was it a news item on news radio this morning that there is a hearing in Michael Jackson's case today? They mentioned that the accused is not required to be there and probably won't be there -- yes, they said both things. Then they said that there will be extra security on hand to deal with the crowds that they anticipate will be there to catch a glimpse of the man.

Why is this news? Not just, why will there be crowds, but why is this news?!

I don't give a good god damn if Nick Nolte is picked up for drunk driving or Hugh Grant gets caught getting blown in some alley or Michael Jackson is a pedophile. Let them have their day in court and shut the fuck up about it and leave it alone!
