arrrggghhh crazy kid

my bipolar 17 y.o. has been tossing her pills. she says for only 3 days, but who knows. i found a couple of days worth in her garbage can. i'm sure she will make sure to flush them from now on.
she has been pretty good lately. but i did think she was cranking up the last few days. i was feeling so good about her. she should be starting a therapeutic day school in a few days. her iep staffing went great, they gave us no trouble. the school that they are offering is highly recommended to us, and very close by.
one step forward, two steps back.

1. I'd find out

if there were any unpleasant side affects of the medicine that caused her not to take them, or was it just the disease talking?

2. i asked her this

of course, she won't really talk to me, and tell me what the problem is. but she just says she doesn't like them, and doesn't know why. i had her therapist call her and he says she didn't have an answer. he doesn't usually tell me much, tho. more ugh.
she is such a good kid, deep down. but this disease is just so tough.
