(snip)

Clapton's latest concert tour stopped at the New Orleans Arena Saturday night and his small entourage, including one other child (1-year-old Ella May?), arrived at the restaurant around noon and they stayed nearly two hours, eating pizza, playing the arcade games and -- yep -- jamming with Chuck E.

OK, maybe it wasn't jamming, per se, but when that ridiculous mascot thing (I'm pretty sure it's a rat, isn't it?) and a legion of clean-scrubbed hosts and waiters (the Chuckettes?) came out to sing "Happy Birthday" to all the children celebrating their auspicious occasions, Clapton joined in, making him, I'm pretty sure, the only member of Derek and the Dominos ever to sing "Happy Birthday" at the Chuck E. Cheese on Vets.

3. Was he there celebrating his wife's birthday?
She is young enough to be his daughter...

Afterward, he broke into a rendition of "Crocodile Tears in Heaven."

Jayzus... I hate that phony piece of :puke:
