Weird Sleeping Habits
I have to have my bed up against at least two walls and i never sleep with my back to a door or a window. The less light the better. 5 pillows. CSPAN2 on in the background. Door locked. A Big Ass glass of water next to the bed (I tend to sleep with my mouth open).

1. Used to do the two wall and TV on thing.
Married now. But CSPAN. What a crack-up. Still like 3 pillows and have a huge tumbler of water myself.

Sweet dweems.

2. Thanks! It's great to know that someone else had the "two walls" bit too
As the Talking Heads once said:

"I was born in a house with the television on."

6. Normally? No.
But right now all my roomies are gone, and I'm here mostly on my own at night.

4. My brother has to wrap himself up like a mummy
Edited on Thu Jun-17-04 10:43 PM by Philosophy
He tightly wraps his sheets around himself leaving only a small hole around his face. He's almost 30 years old and needless to say he has never been married.

5. Must have a fan on
for background noise. Used to be that I would run the fan year round, but since I've been with my wife I've had to break the habit during the colder months. So for the winter, we had to get a humidifier.

9. The room should be chilly
I like snuggling under the blankets, I'll leave the window open well into October even November in Minnesota.

10. I can't sleep unless the tv is on
and it can't be just any show, I will flip the dial until I find something I like, then I can fall asleep. I never go to bed without a big glass of water on the nightstand, at least 2 pillows, and I have to be laying on my left side to fall asleep.

I also have to sleep with a mouthpiece because I clench something awful. I had years of headaches before my wonderful dentist sold me this very expensive piece of plastic to wear at night. It works, it is just a pain to wear sometimes.

11. a few hours reading or going over videos (not that kind!),
Edited on Thu Jun-17-04 11:16 PM by MisterP
while drinking 1 L iced water early on (feels nice and cleans out my mouth), wrap up any diary entries, then record the time I predict I'll go to sleep (usu. 45 min. after switching to the nightlight); I also record when I get up every day.
And I can't sleep in 80 degree weather at night

12. I need 3 things to sleep...
Hi,

The window must be open....even if it's below zero, the TV must be on, and my husband cannot breathe my air.....if I roll to face him and we are face to face, I make him roll over.

Cheers,
Kim
