I go with Ryan Adams.

Had promise and may still have it but at this point he doesn't seem to have any original thought musically (lyrically is another matter)and is under the delusion that everything he puts down on paper should be released regardless of it's merit.

Admittedly, there have been other musicians that could put one a great album every year (Prince and Van Morrison at their primes come to mind) but Ryan's not one of them.

2. Aerosmith.
Their stuff all the way up to "Pump" was top-notch. Then they decided to become "pop icons" instead of rock stars.

Super Bowl halftime show with Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake? Has the world gone mad?

8. Paul Simon
Graceland was an awful long time ago and his music was getting bland till that album. Now, he hasn't anything to say, so he's doing and oldies tour. He need's to go back to move forward. He needs a simple timly heartfelt album right now.

Natilie Merchant is second. She rehashes the same sound.

9. Sting.
His work with the Police and on his early solo stuff was lively, energetic, with strong songwriting, if not always original. Now it's just the same old, boring rehash, with far too much nonsense attitude. It's crap.
