Ok, you're the president of a network. You look at your schedule and you say "God, that show is lame. It's dragging us down. I'm getting rid of it"

Which show would you cancel? And how would you do it?

In my case, I'm the president of CNBC. I look at that crappy Dennis Miller thing and decide enough's enough. I arrange to have that chimpanzee on his show hand Miller the cancellation slip ON THE AIR. And I make sure there are security guards on the set to escort him out of the studio.

1. Comedy Central - Tough Crowd would be deep sixed immediately

I would use the money to put MST3K reruns back on at off-hours, and force the Daily Show to take fewer vacations. :)

First I fire just about EVERYONE at Fox News and find a more "fair & balanced" staff that will report the news and not reinterpret it. I would have talk shows where the liberal isn't some suckup like Alan Colmes, but someone who can actually get our viewpoint across!!! (I'd see if I could lure James Carville over)

Then I'd can American Idol - that's just a damn stupid show!!

How is it possible to cancel each and every worthwhile (i.e. good enough to get known in Europe) show with the Simpsons being the sole exception? And how is it possible to keep the network going despite the above.
