Check out THESE cats! Prepare to go AWWWWW!
Meet Stripes:

Her sister, Blackie:

Sparky:

Tapsie:

Tacy:

(Sparky, Tapsie and Tacy come from the same home. Their owner had to go to a nursing home and the shelter is hoping that the 3 can be adopted together. They are approximately eight to ten years old and love to sleep all cuddled together.)

Stripes has extra toes? Is sparky as big as he looks in the pic? Good luck getting them adopted.

7. Yes, Stripes has extra toes...
I don't know about Sparky. I haven't gotten to meet him personally yet. And, truthfully, I hope he's adopted before we go in July.

I would take her but she's too far away.

10. I have to be honest...
They do euthanize but only when absolutely necessary. They do their best to take animals home with them until such time as there is room, etc. They haven't had to euthanize for a long while.

Don't worry. They NEVER euthanize kittens so Stripes is safe.

my condo only allows 2 pets. Perhaps a good thing. I wouldn't mind twenty.

6. I've got 8 pets...
4 cats.
3 dogs.
1 rabbit.

One of the cats is 16 and losing weight pretty quickly. We don't think she'll be with us for much longer. The vet keeps giving her shots and her weight will go up but then drop right away.

The rabbit is 8 years old and seems pretty spry though we're not sure how long dwarf bunnies usually live.

We're not sure how old Misty is. We figure she's 9 or so and hope she's going to be here for many more years.

Everyone else is younger and, hopefully, will be around a long time.

9. Tapsie looks like my cat, Miranda
She even has that same pissed-off look on her face that shows she doesn't like being picked up.

11. Cute! Sparky must be deaf. White, one green eye and one blue...
... it's a genetic trait linked to those eye/coat colors.

Am I right?
