7. Yep
I may be wrong but I think Hagar was a mere lad when he did vocals for Montrose.

8. this opinion seems to be in the minority here
But I liked it better when we had Van Halen AND Hagar, not Van Hagar.

Know what I mean Vern? ;)

I doubt she would remember it now, but she loved it... it was popular the same year we got a ticket at the beach. :)

14. What the fuck happenned to Sammy Hagar?
The Montrose albums were so good. His late 70's/early 80's solo stuff wasn't bad (though the lyrics were cheesy).

Then he meets a guitar player even better than Ronnie Montrose, one Eddie Van Halen and what happens?

Pure unadulterated Velveeta drenched top 40 BULLSHIT. :puke:

Bubblegum music with lyrics ripped right out of a Hallmark card. God it was awful. A disgrace to anyone ever a fan of Van Halen or Montrose.

I'll bet it was about the same time he turned Republican.

15. How do you know that he was not always a Republican?
Just curious. I know that he had been one since at least the 1990's because he made a donation at that time to Dana Rohrbacker.
