I have had a morbid phobia of birds since age 5.

It made me really angry when I went for my beer and fucking bird slapped me in the face. I almost pissed.

1. I've heard finding a bird in your home...
is an omen for impending death.
I came home one day and found a dead robin in my toilet. Freaked me out!!!!!

8. I think its a black bird, but I don't know
these brids are plentiful in East Tenn. They are thin and long and have skinny wings. They really suck. Like all birds.

16. Does he have shiny feathers?
Is his song more of a screechy croak rather than a whistle?

I wonder if it's a grackle...

18. Genetic as they cross breed and we now have one bird type.
They have mated an Eagle with a crow and we now have one big black bird that talks alot and eats the scarecrow.

13. I got my pool skimming pole
extended it to the maximum. knocked over and broke a lamp. pushed it and nudged it. it got up and flew into the blinds. saw the door open and took off. it was a happy ending for all. but now I'm afraid I'm going to find a poop somewhere

10. There's a bunch in my chimney
when I hear their wings flapping I burn a bunch of paper to smoke em out. But last night I left the flue open. That's how.

7. Poor little thing.
Make sure you close your drapes or it will fly into the glass trying to get out and get hurt.

9. Do you have a fireplace?
They can come down the chimney. Get a critter cover for the chimney if you have a fireplace, also one for the furnace chimney.

Had the same damn thing happen to me a couple years ago (through the fireplace), got critter covers three days later.

15. I am told they need very little room to get in.
Hope it doesn't crap all over the place.

The time I had the bird in the house, I got a male neighbor to come and help (poor guy, it was about 8 a.m. on a Saturday morning). He bashed at it with a baseball cap. Open doors and whatever window you can and bash at the bird with whatever you can.

Good luck.
