when I least expect it. Maybe on the El going home from work. Maybe here AT work, contemplating what it's like to be a true, patriotic American (as I so often do).

Maybe it will be when I'm with Doug. Goodness, what happens if we're "intimate" and then the sheer realization of the loss of this great, great President suddenly hits me with full force?

To the Freepers out there: I haven't cried. No, I haven't. Maybe I've forgotten HOW to cry. To mourn the loss. To look out at this broad, wonderful land of ours and to know that we will never know that special kind of man again.

1. I'll cry for you
My tears shall be your tears and we shall weep for the passing of this legendary American together.

3. I did cry
The ceremony got to me. He was the President when I was growing up, and I have always thought of him as 'The President'(when I hear some one say the Pres, it is Reagan that flashes into my head). I dislike many of his policies, but he seemed to be a nice guy in regular life.
And I don't dislike him politically the way I despise the moronic son of his evil VP.
The Bushes are far more repugnant to me than Reagan.

4. I may be crass
But flick on any TV show for a few minutes and next thing you know the show concludes and you find you'd been drawn into the plot. Even though the actors, writers and scenes pervade a fiction you were moved.

There are pros everywhere working to trick you into caring.
