The film: Cool Hand Luke (Paul Neuman)

Best actor in that film: Strother Martin (the "Captain")

Best line: "What we have here is a failure to communicate."

2. And Best SNL Parody...
When Strother Martin hosted SNL, they did a great Cool Hand Luke parody with "kids" going to a chain gang language camp, starring Bill Murray in the Luke role. Tremendous... and Strother's line was:

"What we have here is failure to communicate bi-lingually..."

Oh yeah, and the tracking dogs were... French poodles.

Strother "there will be no soft or semi-soft cheeses in the bunks, or you spend a night in the box."

Garrett Morris breaks a rule and gets put in the box, where he has to wear the language lab headphones, and comes out a broken, French speaking man...

How come they never run THOSE SNL episodes anywhere?
