Your No Brainer Decision(s)- that affected everything later?
I am sure that I am not the only one who has made a 'throw- away' decision- somewhere in the past- that has affected the rest of ones' life. In other words, not making that single decision would have changed absolutely everything?

Mine was to take a winter off to become a ski bum- after losing my job. I moved to a resort, met my future wife, liked a lot of the people there - and stayed.

It is 25 years later- I still live here. I designed a career that allowed me to stay here, got married, had two kids, and ...

What is yours?

1. Dating one girl in high school
If I didn't date her, I would've never met her friend, whom I became friends with, who I later visited in college, then fell in love with the college, and now I live in that city and will for a long time.

On a related note, I no longer talk to either the ex-girlfriend or her friend. :-)
