5. at last a professional, a question if you please

why don't the spelling bee deals get real and do a fair spelling bee.

Shouldn't every person have to spell every word to win as in

everyone in separate somnd proof booths and every person spells the same word at the same time and every one that can't spell a really tricky word goes out at the same time.

Is thie ever a topic among the people at these so called spelling bees.

No disrespect to your own speller, in fact congradulations, but it seems a little odd to have a person misspell a word get the boot and then the next person gets to try to spell the same word.

Or have they changed this ?

6. No, it's still the same, but to win, the speller has to spell another

word in addition to the correct spelling of the incorrect word. Believe me, I had my own issues with the running of the spelling bee this year and I totally agree with you. :hi:

7. Thanks for the insight, it just seems so unfair to

the person that has to spell first, not to mention all the people that might have already been out if they had to spell all the words that had come before their turn. Anyway if it's so obvious why isn't something done to make it fair ?

Seems a simple keyboard device would allow for everyone to enter the spelling of each word.
