Bumper sticker............
saw this today on a car at the mall. "Fire the Liar" Now that in itself is not that comical, but it occured to me that ONLY in the South does that little statement RHYME. Now before someone (someone always does) think that this is South bashing, I LIVE in the South and I thought this a little funny. Just thought I'd share.

2. I don't get it.
I'm from So. Cal. and pronounce this "fy-yer the ly-yer." Mrs. V.'s from Tennessee and pronounces it "fahr the lahr." Rhymes in both languages. :shrug:

But that IS one of my favorite bumper stickers. :D

3. I don't know..............
just that people in the NE or Midwest wouldn't pronounce it that way. Phonetically is really shouldn't be pronounced that way, but I guess people talk differently all over. I just thought it was a Southern thing, but I guess I was wrong. Kinda like 'y'all'.

4. Rhymes in the Midwest too
I was raised in Chicago and now live in K.C. and it works here too!
That is a great bumper sticker. I haven't seen it yet. Maybe I should be the first on my block to get one.
