3. So, you're from Springfield, Ohio

I'm from about 25 miles away from there in beautiful Miamisburg, Ohio just south of Dayton.

How long has it been since you moved? Was it by choice? I've often thought of leaving Ohio just to get away from the weather, but my family is here and I think I would miss them too much if I moved away.

I moved away in '93 to attend college. Come back as often as I can (I dig the O-H).

I smell one of those annoying Ohio reunion threadjackings coming on...

I vividly remember the phosphorous. I was shopping at the lovely Dayton Mall, and remember seeing a crowd gather around the old WHIO-TV booth. I thought to myself, "Holy crap... I live, like two minutes from there."

It was surreal, and I did feel ill for a day or two.
