Does anyone else love Las Vegas
I do, I leave on the 8th. Suitcases are out and I've started packing.

1. ugh....
Sorry, too weird (and I got married at a Las Vegas drive-up window). Vegas trips me out WAY too much.

2. I got married there too
But we also committed a drive-through.

Haven't really been there since, except for landing once at the airport, looking out the window, seeing a fake pyramid that wasn't there before.

4. Grew up there in the 80's
went back in the 90's..

many changes in the 89-93 gap.

it's been 11 years since..

population has doubled + since we moved out there...

But I know Vegas more than most who claim - I know where the KMarts, Burger Kings, McDonalds and grocery stores are.. (or were)...

6. I like it, but love is a little much
I just like to gamble so I naturally took to Vegas. I used to be able to go there all the time because I was an over-the-road trucker. I've since taken a local job here in Ohio. It's been five years since I've been out west. I don't know if I really miss it, but I wouldn't mind making my way out there again. I always had a good time.

7. Just got back from Vegas
Ok place to visit but wouldn't want to live there. It's got a very strange vibe to it.

First thing I do once I get a car is taking a trip. #1 place to have fun imo.

12. I can't understand why Hunter Thompson doesn't like
Las Vegas.

It is the shrink-wrapped American Dream in all of its bubblegum splendor! Regulated, controlled primal urges, lusts all cleverly marketed to thrill and titilate!

Today's Las Vegas reminds me of the party at the end of the universe in Douglas Adams' HHGTTG. You can come again and again for the final countdown to the Apocalypse!

I dig that place!

Vegas = Faux fun.

A whole world of adventure awaits us all -- elsewhere.

Call me a party pooper. I call it as I see it.

14. To me it's a bit like my vision of hell.
I love the natural world and hate commercialism, consumerism, and greed, so I'm glad I'm not required to travel there!
