Explained: Why you feel like taking a shower after visiting Drudge
Tried a little spyware experiment:

Pulled down the latest Ad-Aware reference file, cleaned my system.

Opened my browser, navigated to CNN. Ran it again - 1 new object. Cleaned it.

Navigated to DU. 0 new objects.

Navigated to Drudge. 5 new objects.

Spyware is noxious cyber-lint. Small wonder the sloped forehaed crowd uses it to pad their coffers.

Congrats DU.
