how many times have you watched the evening news, and couldn't figure what the hell the "witness" was talking about?

Hell -- I have some family members like that witness. I'm like, "huh???"

But then -- I have a strange sense of humor (or so I'm told).

It's funny as hell to me anyway.

Some people should not be on TV/Radio giving interviews.

I guess you could imply that he (Boortz, sp?) wanted to make fun of people talking "street" and wanted to show how "real" Americans talk. If you see it that way it is a bit offensive.

However, this is a problem around where I live (Texas). I don't know if we have a term for redneck talk (bush, as opposed to street?) but I sit in front of the TV and say "huh"????
