Cheap white wine. put in some brandy. put in some triple sec. put in some fruit. You need to pour about 1/3 of the gallon (did I mention it is made in a gallon jug?) into the sink, or be thrifty and save the unaltered wine. Did I mention about 1/3 cup of sugar. Let mix and marinate for a while. The fruit will not look right, and that is how it supposed to look.

And it tastes like sugary stuff and it is not closely acquainted with wine any longer. But after a glass or two, it is just dandy.

Considering that in 6,219 posts I've only had a handful of "view alls" or flames, I might qualify. At least long enough to help you on the way to a "view all!"

In retrospect, many flamed posts get flames because of the flames, if you get my drift. Not always a great thing, unless you like circular, repetitive verbal warfare!

216. I like to think of DU as a kind of

Bughouse Square. Mike Malloy talked about this place in Chicago where people would go to speak their minds. They'd take turns talking about the issues that affected them. Whether there was a great response to a rant or not people had a place to meet and talk. I know if I were to be at a large gathering of DUer's I'd hardly be the center of attention. I'd give my 2 cents worth on issues and talk to a few people I really hit it off with. But in no way would I ever be Mr. Popularity. That's ok. I can live with that. Same for here.
