8. I never thought I'd hear you say that!

I only saw the last few minutes, we went to buy plants, and were nearly alone at the greenhouse.

Our son's grad dinner is at the Stampede Grounds. This Saturday. Game Three. Yes, the Saddledome is at the Grounds, as are dinners for two other high schools. This is going to be a nightmare. What's worse, Mrs Ironflange refuses to ride the C-Train all dressed up, so we've decided to go down early in the afternoon and play with the nickel slots. Maybe we can get lucky and win enough to pay for the parking. We're hoping the soiree will be over before the game is and we can make a quick getaway. If not, it's going to be icky.

But...you and I all know the reason I'm cheering for them.

Plus they are hard workers and deserve it..I only slightly wish I still was in the CNP so I could hit cowtown for the party.

My friend was at the last game VRS SAn jose..musta been great....but not as great as Game five Vancouver/Toronto in 94 ;-)
