Question about the afterlife
For those who believe in an afterlife...

Do you assume that any afterlife is not totally unlike your current existence, in that you retain your own identity and consciousness?

Do you believe such an afterlife is eternal?

If so, wouldn't that mean that you would have enough time to experience everything there is to know or experience an infinite number of times?

Wouldn't that get boring after the first few thousand iterations?

Of, do you believe that you fon't retain your own individuality or consciousness, or that the nature of your psychology in any afterlife would be so radically different that the question is meaningless?

3. There are a lot of incomprehensible dimensions out there.
You retain your individual spiritual monad but take a huge number of different forms to learn to raise your vibrational frequency enough to finally become atoned to Prime Creator and finish the cycles of reincarnation.

This was Jesus' message of agape love, the highest vibration in these three dimensions.

4. Is there a DU in the afterlife?
And if so, will they ask for contributions too?

10. In the afterlife . . .
You could be headed for the serious strife
Now you make the scene all day
But tomorrow there'll be Hell to pay

People listen attentively
I mean about future calamity
I used to think the idea was obsolete
Until I heard the old man stamping his feet

{Refrain}

This is a place where eternally
Fire is applied to the body
Teeth are extruded and bones are ground
Then baked into cakes which are passed around

{Refrain}

Beauty, talent, fame, money
Refinement, top skill and brain
But all the things you try to hide
Will be revealed on the other side

{Refrain}

Now the D and the A and the M and the N
And the A and the T and the I-O-N
Lose your face, lose your name
Then get fitted for a suit of flame

{Repeat last verse}

"Hell" . . . Squirrel Nut Zippers

11. the nature of your psychology in any afterlife would be so radically .....
different that the question is meaningless.

I don't think our feeble human brains could comprehend this. Like seeing colors our dendrites weren't wired to see or hearing sounds on too high a frequency. I think one lives a decent life and what will be will be- hopefully some spiritual plane of greater understanding. If not, I won't be conscious of it anyway. :shrug:

12. I believe if you get where you want to go
You become a part of the universe, in the molecular sense.

Some get reincarnated, and then there are some like Bush, who even hell is not a good enough place for.

13. It's There Or It Isn't
And I choose to live my life in the manner that I was brought up in.

I figure If there is an afterlife, then the Deity will try to make sure I'm not bored.

If there isn't, then I've helped a few people achieve their goals along the way.

It's a win-win situation for me reguardless.
