So my mother in law smashed my husband's new truck.
And I am kind of happy about it because the last new one he had I pretty much destroyed (in a messy dispute with a yellow pole) when it was two weeks old. I am trying to figure out the significance of this. Maybe MrGumpy should start driving compact cars. It was just a base model Dodge, no bells no whistles, so please don't smack me for owning a super expensive vehicle (It was less that our ego stroking-snort-mini van.)

Funny side note-She has NO IDEA HOW IT HAPPENED!?!?!!?!

9. Was she in South Dakota
on the same side of the road as Rep. Bill Janklow? Originally he claimed he had to swerve around a car.

4. They're all weird here in Grumpyland.
;)

She wasn't in the truck, and it was on the passenger side. She didn't know it until my truck obsessed husband pointed it out. It's a rather big smash from what I gather.

3. I think the lesson MrGrumpy
is going to walk away with the notion that he shouldn't let women drive his truck.

Did she get hurt? How's he taking it?

5. Hahaha those were almost his exact words. She is fine.
One thing I have to say about my husband is that he takes these things really well. Better than I do. In his words, it's just a truck, people are irreplaceable.

7. and next week...sniffle.. my baby goes to kindergarten. Whaaaaa!
This week will seem like peaches, and it's all small, laughable stuff. It just made me smile that my husband can "never have anything nice."

14. Yes, but,
MrsGrumpy, did he rub your aching head

following your nasty encounter with the towel rack

of the third kind, hard and in the way?

Poor mommy. Baby is off to school.

8. Wait, is this an anecdote or a country song?
All you need is prison and a dog and you're ready for Nashville. (Glad no one was hurt so I can get silly like this)

13. yup...and there should be
a train and booze involved too.

For example:

I was drunk the day my momma got out of prison...
