Who else was a proud member of the 10 percent club?
Remember when * had a 90 percent approval rating? I was a member of the 10 percent who disapproved. I would guess most of you were also.

That is when I found DU. I felt so isolated when everyone was saying that the chimp was wonderful and I still hated him. I was so happy to find others like me. It feels weird to be in the majority now.
Other survival stories?

and all the people I talked to used his 90% approval rating as justification for his actions. Unreal.

I don't know anyone who will fess up to that (except for my parents of course) and he won in a landslide.

and I knew, just knew that it had to turn around someday.

After countless lives lost and trillions of dollars stolen, do you think anyone has learned anything from this terrible ordeal?

7. 2nd time around here
I was in the 10% Club when Bush Sr. was warmongering and recessioneering over a decade ago. I have hated these criminal motherfuckers since Bush Sr. ran for president back in 1980. Something about them always struck me as fundamentally wrong with these shitstains. Everything that is wrong about America resides in their genes.

9. I've never left the 10 percent club
the day of the attacks, as I walked from the rubble, my hatred for that asshole no-good criminal grew even more, and I knew he'd do nothing but grandstand over the attacks and come up with a Christian Flag-Waving "Support me in my God-appointed faux-Christian quest to destroy the mid-east or you're not a patriot and might be put in jail".

The asswipe's never let me down - he always plums to the depths and bowels of evil and stupidity and jingoistic knee-jerk flag-waving fake Christian fake-pietism that I know he's capable of. Though I have to say he has occasionally impressed even my low opinion by hitting a stupidity level that I didn't was possible, even for furniture.

25. I couldn't have said it better myself.
My husband and I knew he was an incompetent jerk from day one. I don't believe those polls - everyone here knows my opinion about polls! - there is no possible way that 90% of all Americans ever supported that twerp.

90% of registered Republicans, maybe.

16. Personally, I never believed that only 10% of the people were
"pro-Bush" after 9/11. That was a reach...his numbers began falling immediately. I think the polling caught Americans in a very confusing moment and Bush benefited from a surge of pro-America sympathy. He just happened to be the undeserving beneficiary of that national surge.

Hell, I knew it BEFORE the selection, and everyone around me told me that I was just being too hard on him. I'd hear shit like, "well, he seems like a down to earth kinda guy, and how bad could he be", and I'd roll my eyes and say, JUST WAIT. Funny thing is, I haven't said I told you so to anyone lately... they all seem to be avoiding me. Can't imagine why THAT would be
