Anyone else ride motorcycles????
Been riding for 30yrs, street, trail, road race, enduro, supermoto, I have 1 Ducati, 3 Suzuki's, 1 Kawasaki. I do all my own maintenance and repairs. If I can get traction, I'll ride before I drive somewhere. Member of the AMA.

1. Neve have and never will ride a murdercycle.....
....my Uncle died on one when I was 5 and I remember his funeral all to vividly....he was only 21 and his wife was 8months pregnant....he wrecked and landed in a lake with is neck broken and the bike landed on top of him....my grandparents*his own parnets* found him like that after 3 days...so NO I have a severe loathin' for the goddamn things!!

2. I used to.
I used to love motorcycles. For a few years a motorcycle was my only transportation, I didn't own a car. But it's been about 6 years since I owned a motorcycle.

I rode a Yamaha 1980 XS650 across the country several times, first trip was from Washington DC to El Paso to Seattle, then back across the country over the Rockies back to DC. I used to dream of doing something really crazy like Ed Culberson ("Obsessions Die Hard") or Ted Simon ("Jupiter's Travels").

4. Count this grrrl in! I have a Suzuki street bike (wee 500) and a Yamaha
enduro (little 175).

Ducati is my dream bike.... (sigh!)

My other dream is riding in the Dakar rally. But a couple of years ago, a woman my age was one of the winners, I think. So....there's still time I figger.

5. I used to race motocross

I started out on a little elsinor 50
then went to an xr 75
then I had a kx 80
and finally finished my motocross days on a CR 125

I have had some street bikes over the years too
all Honda or Kawasaki.

What I would really love is some type of
travelling bike that can go off road like one of
those 1000cc bmw's that are used for desert races.
