in fact I should get about $300 back at settlement and they rolled my credit card debt into the loan. Ain't that fantastic?

My mortgage is just waiting for the final dotting of the i's and crossing of the t's.

I got approved at 6.125% - locked in. I could have paid more and gotten a lower rate, but I couldn't afford it.

One more advice. Take your time at the mortgage signing and read everything. The agents will try to hurry you because they don't expect folks to read them. I've found so many errors countless times. Bring a calculator and check their math.
