so i get my new cell phone today..

open the box and it's the wrong one. call customer service and "they were out of the one you ordered so we substituted this one". They sent me a flip-phone, a pretty shitty one to boot (samsung a460). i hate flip phones. it takes me 40+ minutes to get through to a supervisor and they will "see what they can do" to exchange it for something else. Apparently when they say on the website that they can substitute another similar phone, it mean they can substitute for any freaking phone they happen to have in stock. i might have to just buy a phone seperately and have them activate it or something. what a royal pain in the ass..

it's a good deal, i would prefer not to have a flip phone, and if i have to get one i'd like one that isn't a steaming pile of shit like the one they sent me.


it sucks because i currently use a pre-paid deal and you can only put 20 bucks at a time on it, which i won't need.

I had the same model.

That thing REALLY heats up. It's an ok phone, but I would get something else.

I ended up losing it though, and since I really can't afford a new phone, I reactivated my phone which looks like it's out of WWII. Oh well it still works ok for the most part.

but Sprint PCS has been nothing but a friggin nightmare for me.

Go to epinions.com. There people give opinions about EVERYTHING. I wish I had went to epinions.com before getting hooked into Sprint.

as for a carrier, i don't have much choice, and the service i'm getting is not sprint, but uses the sprint network.
