Even though they already tried to do an 80's show called "That 80's Show" that failed.... hmmm. So the name's been used once already and if they changed the name then everyone would be confused and think that it was that HORRIBLE 80's show being reincarnated.

Or will it just be 1979 for another 3 or 4 years until the characters are just too old to be believable when playing their youthful parts?

5. Korean War
Lasted 13 years on MASH.

Hot Lips carried on an affair w/Frank, left him for "Pinobscott" (?), then divorced him. All in one tour of duty!

Remember that episode that actually covered a full year--from one New Year's Eve to the next?

Unless, of course, they want to send all the characters on a vacation to Hawaii and Hyde saves Jackie by water-skiing over a killer shark . . .

Seriously . . . the characters started out the year ahead of me and I believe ended up the year behind me in high school.

4. How about:
TSS: The Me Decade Years.

Maybe the previous poster's idea about cancellation is best. The show isn't terrible, but it ain't 3's Company or WKRP level entertainment.

6. The Simpsons Had a Gag
on the last episode (or maybe the one before?) where Homer was having a flashback to when he was younger at camp "Back in the '50's or was it the '60's or maybe the 70's"...

8. They tried a "That 80's Show"
Everyone had spiky hair and listened to Pat Benatar. It was cancelled after one season, I believe.

10. I think next year is the last year for that show
So they could kinda pull it off that it's still the 70's but I always wondered about that too.

13. I sure wish they would go farther back in time and do a "That 20's Show"
Flappers, bathtub gin, Warren Harding in the White House. Now, THAT's a decade to get nostalgic about!
